Breaking the Rhythm

Changing the stress of a beat breaks the rhythm and creates a simple syncopation.

Most of the "tick -
tock" steps can be converted to take in a triplet, a shuffle or an extra chug or two and a little syncopation but beware this is the very edge of things where many different percussive dance traditions merge into one and although much can and has been gained by this merging much too has been lost.
