Cross overs - Two Beat Walking Step variation. As one foot comes forward to take the forward step it crosses over the other.
Two beat Walk (backwards) - Step backwards; chug forwards one foot at a time as with forward walking step. This step can be danced crossed over as above.
Skoot - Feels like limping, tock tick tock tick etc. Drop onto R (tock), take weight slightly on to L (tick),
drop onto R (tock), take weight slightly onto L (tick)
etc.
Try turning with this step, move sideways, backwards and forwards, spin - repeat on the other foot.
Step and slide - Step forward on the ON beat slide the other foot to join it slowly over several beats.
Heel toe walk - Turn the toe up and dig theiieel into the floor on the ON beat, snap the turned up toe down on the OFF beat take the weight repeat one foot after the other.
Heel toe squares - walk forward onto R heel balance, walk forward onto L heel, walk back onto R toe/foot, bring L back to join it. It's like walking a square. R L R L This step can start at any point in the rhythm so try it out stepping with the heel on the ON beat, and then starting on the OFF
beat.
Double heel slide - In this step the Two Beat Walking Step is interrupted by two heel digs.
