First let me apologise for the odd errors and weirdnesses you will find in my web version of this book. Fortunately, the quality of the scan for this book came out better than the one for the first volume - American Ballads & folk Songs so the vagaries of scanning and OCRing, did not mess up this volume as much as the former. However, I hope you don't find the errors too annoying and will find what I have done useful. Our Singing Country is another major (400+pages) contribution by Lomax to preserving the traditional music of America.
