THIS SONG COLLECTION aims to provide a variety of mainly lively songs considered to be suitable for children of all ages and most denominations. The songs provide traditional Christian teaching functions such as, aids to memorization of Bible passages, exemplars of Christian life and simplified exposition of key concepts. The songs include items from the whole Christian spectrum including ancient hymns to informal modern material from contemporary authors. Singing has long been recognised as an effective an fun way of learning the Christian message, and these songs, I hope, will provide those involved with teaching our kids some ideas to improve their ministry.

Although many of the songs mention artist or author names, this may not be accurate and these songs should not be considered as definitive versions representative of any particular performance or artist. Also the keys and chord sequences chosen may also vary considerably between versions by different artists.
