Sung in 1934 by Mr. Henry Larabee, Kalkaska, who learned the song in a lumber camp near Hastings, Michigan. A good text of five stanzas.

Communicated in 1916 by Mrs. Emehne Jenks Crampton, St. Clair, who had learned the song twenty-five years earlier from hearing it sung in her home town.
