These scales are to be practiced until considerable speed is obtained. This is not hard to do. Play the l%t 4 notes using the 3d and 4th fingers and then shift the hand quicklybring-ing the first finger to the next note which is always the 7th fret. This brings the hand to the 4*!1 position.
